The Disney Parks Blog has now provided a glimpse of the 50th Anniversary celebration merchandise! Starting in early October and releasing through November, six different collections will be available for purchase at Walt Disney World with select items available on shopDisney.
The Celebration Collection features two pairs of ears – one Loungefly character print (with a matching Loungefly) and a sequin with foam bow pair similar to the Disneyland 60th and 65th pair. Both collections release on October 1, 2021.
Next up is the Castle and EARidescent Collections which feature extra sparkle and shimmer. The Castle Ears not only have the extra gold glam, but they also light up! Both collections have matching Spirit Jerseys in addition to other merchandise. The EARidescent Collection will release later in October while the Castle Collection releases October 1, 2021.
Lastly, the Vault and Luxe Logo collections will release with lots of great retro merchandise and more luxurious colors and fabrics (respectively). The retro ears are a fun throwback to the original Minnie Ears and will release October 1, 2021. The Luxe Collection Ears are Loungefly and will be releasing in November.
