The Santa Mickey Ears were released in 2010 at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. There were two versions of this pair sold simultaneously. The first version featured a rectangular gemstone on the black band and the second had a rectangular box of gemstones.

They were released along with the tall Candy Cane Ears. In 2010, a tall Candy Corn and Witch Ears were also released for Halloween.

The original retail price was $21.95.
