The Candy Apple Ears were first released in parks on September 10, 2024 as part of the Disney Eats monthly collection. The collection released on Disney Store with only the Loungefly. The rest of the collection did not arrive online as of the end of September.

Other pieces in the collection include the Loungefly mini backpack ($89.00) and the Spirit Jersey ($79.99), and Starbucks tumbler ($29.99). (As of writing, only a Loungefly and ears have released online or in parks).

The original retail price of the ears was $39.99.
