The Star Wars: Dark Side Artist Collection Loungefly Ears released at the D23: The Ultimate Fan Event on August 9, 2024. In addition, the ears were available to purchase on DisneyStore.com on August 12, 2024 at 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET along with other pieces of the collection and other merchandise form the event. They were available in the parks in the coming days.

The ears are made of shiny, red simulated leather with Dark Side art designed by artist Alex Riegert-Waters. At the center of the ears is a black removable bow.

The original retail price of the ears was $44.99.

In addition to ears, a mini backpack, Spirit Jersey, and Starbucks tumbler will also be released.

D23: The Ultimate Fan Event ran August 9, 10, and 11 in Anaheim, California. In order to shop, a boarding group was required. The virtual queue opened at 4 AM PT each day for the available shops.
