The Maleficent Dragon Ears are a part of the Heroes and Villains Collection and released at the D23: The Ultimate Fan Event on August 9, 2024. In addition, the ears will be available to purchase on DisneyStore.com on August 12, 2024 at 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET along with other pieces of the collection and other merchandise form the event. They were available in parks in the following days.

The ears are made of a black padded simulated leather. At the center of the ears is a dragon and Maleficent horns.

The original retail price of the ears was $44.99.

In addition to the ears, a mini backpack (not Loungefly) has also been previewed to release.

D23: The Ultimate Fan Event ran August 9, 10, and 11 in Anaheim, California. In order to shop, a boarding group was required. The virtual queue opened at 4 AM PT each day for the available shops.
