We’re just days away from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event happening in Anaheim, California with the event occurring on August 9, 10, and 11! Once of the most anticipated aspects of the event is the shopping – and thanks to the previews, we now know several collections and pieces that will be featured (and yes, there are several new pairs of ears)!
Let’s take a look at some of the collections and pieces that will be released this week along with details on when and where to purchase.

How to Shop – Online
Beginning on Monday, August 12 at 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET, DisneyStore.com will be releasing select items from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event for sale. Many of these items were listed as a “first release” by Disney so it is possible that they will show up in parks in the future, but that is not a guarantee.
All of the merchandise previews can be found on Disney Store here.
How to Shop – In Person
In order to shop at this year’s event, guests will need to sign up for a boarding group. From Disney: “Fans will have the opportunity to explore the show floor while waiting to shop by signing up for a “boarding group” for themselves and one (1) guest with virtual queue on the Disneyland app through and receive a notification when it’s their turn to shop.”
In addition, Disney states: “Guests will be able to access the D23 Marketplace, The Walt Disney Company Store, The Walt Disney Company Pin Store, Mickey’s of Glendale (Friday only), Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store, and Disney Studio Store Hollywood (Friday and Saturday only) only via virtual queue. Virtual queue will be required to shop at these locations starting when the event opens at 9:00 a.m. PT each day. There will be no stand-by queues available in the mornings, but stand-by opportunities may be available later in the afternoon each day if all virtual queue boarding groups have been recalled. All merchandise is subject to availability and inventory may sell out.”
Virtual queue slots open at 4 AM PT in the app each day.
