The Shaved Ice Ears were first released on the Disney Store website on July 9, 2024 as part of the Disney Eats monthly collection. The ears released the day after the rest of the collection. The collection released in parks on July 11, 2024.

Other pieces in the collection include the Loungefly mini backpack ($88.00) and the Spirit Jersey ($79.99), and Starbucks tumbler ($29.99).

The original retail price of the ears was $39.99.
