We are just a few weeks away from the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! With the opening of a new ride, that means new merchandise and Disney is giving us a preview of what is to come!
Along with many merchandise pieces, Disney will be releasing TWO different pairs of ears! The Green Tiana Crown Ears and the light up Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Ears will both be released with the opening of the ride on June 29, 2024 in Magic Kingdom at the Emporium.
Both of these ears have been released or previewed previously, but this is the fist confirmation that they will officially be available in the US parks.
In addition to ears, many other merchandise pieces for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be releasing. These pieces include popular items like a Spirit Jersey and Loungefly mini backpack as well as many other clothing pieces and accessories.
These merchandise pieces will be sold in the Critter Co-Op outside of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the future, but will initially be sold at the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom on June 28, 2024. The merchandise will also be available in Disneyland once the ride opens there and select pieces will be eventually available on the Disney Store website as well.
It wouldn’t be a Tiana ride without some foods available too! A variety of unique sweets themed for Tiana and the ride will be available for purchase. Disney World will also be the first place outside of Dooky Chase’s Restaurant to sell spices from Leah Chase’s family business (and if you didn’t know, Leah Chase was inspiration for the character of Princess Tiana).
