The Hong Kong Disneyland FDMTL Ears were first released exclusively to the newly reopened Disney’s Hollywood Hotel on July 5, 2023. The ears released in the park as well on July 14, 2023. The ears and collection were created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company and the reopening of Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. The Japanese company, FDMTL, teamed up with Hong Kong Disneyland to create this collection inspired by Japanese indigo, boro, and patchwork designs.
