It’s now August so it means that Halloween festivities are right around the corner! This year’s Disney Halloween runs September 15 through October 31 at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
At Tokyo Disneyland, the “Boo!” parade is returning, but will be running modified without dancers and without show stops. In addition to the “Boo!” parade, the “The Villains’ Rockin’ Halloween,” will also be running using the floats with a twist – the villains take over! The Haunted Mansion: Holiday Nightmare will also return , running September 14, 2022 – January 4, 2023.
Tokyo DisneySea will have the “Halloween Harbor Greeting,” featuring characters in “Festival of Mystique” costumes sailing around the harbor to do a short performances at the three viewing areas. At the Hangar Stage, “Halloween Time with You,” will be presented using projections to feature the previous Halloween celebrations.
The fireworks spectacular, “Night High Halloween,” will be returning to both parks after its three year absence.
Tokyo Disney Resort is also getting some adorable new Halloween elEars and lots of festive merchandise releasing September 14, 2022. Included in the ears are the Green Sequin Ears with Black Velvet Bow and the Purple Sequin Ears with Black Velvet Bow. These two pairs are ¥1,800.
Another new Halloween ear releasing for 2022 is the Happiness in the Sky Halloween Balloon Ears. These are similar to the previously released white pair, but with a festive, spooky twist! This pair is also ¥1,800.
The third pair of Halloween “ears” releasing on September 14 is the Halloween Ghosts Headband. This pair features a black and white Mickey ghost that can be moved and rotated any way you desire. They can also hold hands! This pair is ¥2,000.
The last Halloween ear releasing for the 2022 celebration is a Tokyo version of the US parks 2020 Sequined Bow Candy Ears. This will be the same pair except with a thin Tokyo Disney Resort fabric tag.
