The Disney Parks Blog is providing another sneak peek and upcoming details for Disneyland’s 2024 Halloween celebration!
The Halloween season begins at Disneyland on August 23, 2024 and runs through October 31, 2024 (November 2nd for Plaza de la Familia)!
Today’s preview includes a new pair of ears, Spirit Jersey, MagicBand+, Candy Corn glow necklace, as well as a Coco tumbler and button up shirt.
Looking closely at the ears, they are made from a faux leather and feature pumpkins and Mickey pumpkins in addition to other spooky additions like skeletons. At the center is a bright orange sequin bow that matches the lining of the headband. The Mickey pumpkins on the ears match the details of the also pictured Spirit Jersey, MagicBand+, and glow necklace.
All of these pieces will be available this fall throughout Disneyland Resort and on DisneyStore.com. These pieces will likely be available at Walt Disney World as well, but there is no confirmation of that (yet). In Disneyland Park, “Halloween Screams” will be returning nightly featuring projects viewable from Sleeping Beauty Castle, “it’s a small world,” Rivers of America, and along Main Street, U.S.A. On some nights, fireworks will also light up the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Haunted Mansion Holiday will also be returning this fall! As the queue is still under construction, the attraction will only be available via virtual queue when it reopens. You can also get a hint of this year’s gingerbread from the picture below!
In addition to the exciting news, Mickey and Minnie will be receiving new festive looks just for the holiday season!
Disneyland Parks is not the only one getting ready for the celebration. At Disney California Adventure, Plaza del la Famila celebrating Dia de los Muertos will be back with other favorites like Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark and “Radiator Screams.”
Oogie Boogie Bash will also be happening which means that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets go on sale soon! Tickets will be available at the following times:

The waiting room opens at approximately 8:45 AM PT, and sales will begin no earlier than 9 AM PT on Disneyland.com.
